Box schemes are a simple but effective method of distributing local produce. Crops are picked and packed according to seasonal availability which means you’re eating in harmony with nature year-round.

Home Grown Here veg box delivery areas in Cumbria

How it works:

• You’ll receive a weekly (or fortnightly) bag of fresh veg for £14 including delivery. No need to re-order – it will automatically arrive without fail.

• Don’t worry if you’re outside our delivery areas; we can do a workplace drop-off or leave it with a friend or relative inside the delivery area.

• We’ll let you know what’s coming up in your delivery each week so you can shop accordingly.

• Veg bags always include favourite staples of spuds (1.5kg), carrots and onions plus five other deliciously seasonal veg.

• You can permanently opt out of up to five veg which we’ll automatically replace with something equally scrumptious…or you can choose your own swaps.

• Add extra items, like fruit, herbs, eggs and apple juice to your delivery (subject to availability).

• Our crops are responsibly grown in Cumbria* using zero or minimal interventions.

• You can divert unwanted deliveries to your local Food Bank.

• We use minimal food packaging and generate no waste.

• You’ll be supporting local producers and their families and keeping your spend within Cumbria.

• Come and meet us each month at various Farmer’s Markets.

*We’re growing more veg year-on-year in Cumbria but some veg may be bought in as locally as possible on occasion.

You can permanently opt out of up to five veg (once your account is set up) which we’ll automatically replace with something equally scrumptious … or you can choose your own swaps.
